To be able to review and consolidate the budget proposals of different departments and offices of the local government unit.
To be able to assist the mayor in the preparation of the budget and during budget hearings.
To be able to study and evaluate budgetary implications of proposed legislation and submit comments and recommendations thereon.
To be able to submit periodic budgetary reports to the Provincial Budget Office and DBM.
To be able to coordinate with the treasurer, the accountant and the planning development coordinator for the purpose of budgeting.
To able to assist the Sangguniang concerned in reviewing the approved budget of the barangays.
