Business License
Before starting any type of business in Magsaysay, a business license must be first secured, certifying that the operations and transactions are legal and legitimate.
After securing a business license, you are assumed to have complied and will continue to comply with all the Post-audit requirements. An inspection shall be conducted within a month following the release of the business license to ensure full compliance. Any violation of conditions of approval is sufficient ground for the revocation of the business license.

Secure a Building Permit
Building Permit
To put up any structure in Magsaysay, you must first obtain a building permit from the Municipal government.
Applicants should have the following documents:
1. Floor Plan/Location Map/Elevation & Section/Site Development (5 Copies)
2. Homeowner's Association Clearance (where necessary)
Locational Clearance duly notarized (5 Copies)
3. Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) or Deed of Absolute Sale (Certified copy from the Registry of Deeds)
4. Tax Declaration/Affidavit of Consent (photo copy)
5. Tax Receipt (photo copy)
6. Contract of Lease if the property is not owned (photo copy)
s DAR Clearance - Applicable if Agricultural
Bill of Materials and Cost Estimate (2 copies)
Applicants must also provide five (5) sets of the following:
1. Building plans signed and sealed by professionals
2. Bill of materials
3. Specifications
4. Structural Computations (2 or more floors)
5. Soil Boring Test (3 or more floors)
6. Barangay Clearance
Secure a Building Permit
1. Fill up application form from the Municipal Engineer's Office (MEO), Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.
2. Submit accomplished form and all other required documents to the MEO. [Allow seven (5) working days for evaluation, processing and approval.]
3. After seven (5) working days, secure the order of payment from the MEO and pay the corresponding fees at the Municipal Treasurer's Office, Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.
4. Present the official receipt of payment to the MEO and claim the building permit.

Applicants should have the following documents:
1. Five (5) sets of plan signed and sealed by sanitary engineer including cost estimate and design analysis
2. Building & Occupancy Permit
3. Barangay Clearance

1. Fill up application form from the Municipal Engineer's Office (MEO), Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.
2. Submit accomplished application form and all other required documents to the MEO. [Allow three (3) working days for evaluation, processing and approval.]
3. After three (3) working days, secure the order of payment from the MEO and pay corresponding fees at the Municipal Treasurer's Office, Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.
4. Present official receipt of payment to the MEO and claim the sanitary permit.

Fencing Permit
Before installing a fence in a construction area in Magsaysay, you need to obtain a fencing permit from the Municipal government.
Applicants should have the following documents:
1. Three (3) sets of plans of fence details signed and sealed by a professional
2. Lot plan with vicinity map
3. Transfer Certificate Title (TCT), Deed of Sale (Certified True Copy from the Registry of Deeds)
4. Contract of Lease (if not the registered owner)
5. Barangay Clearance

1. Fill up application form from the Municipal Engineer's Office (MEO), Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.
2. Submit accomplished application form and all other required documents to the MEO, which will schedule and carry out a site inspection.
